Puff pastry sheets : 1-2
Cheddar cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
Salt: a generous pinch
Oregano: a generous spread
Poppy seeds: few
Butter to brush the pastry sheets
Thaw the puff pastry sheets and line them on parchment paper in a cookie tray.
Preheat the oven at 375 degrees F.
Grate the cheese and keep the seasoning ready.
Generously brush the pastry sheets with butter and season with cheese, salt, oregano and poppy seeds.
Cut thin strips of the sheets with a pizza cutter.
|Season with Cheese oregano !|
Bake the sheets for 10-12 minutes till the cheese melts and strips turn light golden.
Take out the tray and cool for a while.
Perfect straws with freshly baked cheese and oregano smells just amazing and tastes awesome !
